Urban Vision Alliance is based on a chapter model where groups of people across the country can form their own local UVA organizations. They will receive access to our platform, with the tools, support, and peer network to build local alliances.
HOW IT WORKS
We’re building an online platform that gives every Chapter a branded website along with tools and resources, including legal agreements, playbooks, and marketing and fundraising collateral.
By leveraging the UVA platform, Chapters will hit the ground running and focus on executing their plan instead of building the foundation. By acting as the fiscal sponsor for each new Chapter, UVA enables them to immediately start fundraising. We connect our Chapter leaders regularly to share updates, learnings, and best practices from building an alliance to developing housing to fundraising.
WHAT YOU NEED
Make sure that you have your initial team. Experience in real estate, homelessness services, and/or related industries is valuable, as well as strong entrepreneurs who can create a successful organization when given the foundation. Support from donors, city officials, and/or business leaders is essential. You will need to use your network and assets to build your local alliance of partners.
