Building an alliance to solve street homelessness in a city requires a network of the right supporters. Our comprehensive approach works when the most influential people in the community support and promote our city-wide solution. Our Ambassadors will grow UVA’s direct access to the target demographic of those who care deeply about solving the homelessness crisis and have financial resources and social influence in order to fund and support the program in its initial phase.
STARTING IN SAN FRANCISCO
The UVA Ambassador Program will build and strengthen the network for UVA, first in San Francisco, and then to additional priority markets.
If you have a strong community of people who can make a difference in your city, and you are looking for an easy way to make a big impact on solving homelessness, consider becoming an Ambassador for UVA in your city.
HOW IT WORKS
Our ambassadors’ primary role is to share the UVA story and introduce their local chapter to potential donors and supporters in their network. Ambassadors, who represent various communities and influential networks across politics, business, sports, social media, and beyond, will expand UVA key relationships and raise awareness of UVA’s mission.
WHAT YOU NEED
To be successful in the Ambassador role, you should have:
- A strong desire to connect people to create new ways to solve homelessness.
- An entrepreneurial spirit coupled with an ability to communicate a high level vision and the necessary details to create a shared sense of a desired future and to inspire action to make it a reality.
